The Accounting SME play a critical role in supporting business continuity and process optimization within the Center of Excellence (COE) Accounting team. This role focuses on maintaining and refining processes, distributing workloads, and supporting the implementation of new entities or service expansions. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a background in accounting or shared services, equipped to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Your tasks:
- Business Continuity: Ensure efficient completion of tasks and assist in managing workloads across the team to support seamless business operations.
- Process Optimization: Maintain and optimize COE Accounting processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Implementation and Expansion Support: Assist in the onboarding of new entities or expanded services within the COE Accounting function by setting up systems, training new staff, and ensuring compliance with internal standards.
- Provides hands-on support for onboarding new team members, configuring systems, training staff, and ensuring compliance for smooth, successful integration of new entities and services.
- Demonstrate flexibility and agility by swiftly adjusting to evolving business priorities, unexpected challenges, and emerging needs to maintain seamless team operations.
- Improve response times and enhance capacity to manage incoming requests, ensuring high-quality outcomes and exceptional service for stakeholders.
- Share responsibilities effectively across the team to minimize errors, uphold accuracy, and ensure reliable, consistent service delivery.
- Coordinate processes for documentation, monitoring and review of internal controls
- Build and leverage relationships with all functions (Regional Services, AP, AR, Treasury, FP&A, Group Accounting) to establish accounting communications and action plans
- Translate accounting needs / requirements into detailed project plans while driving internal execution to meet project targets

Your profile:
- Minimum 3 years in accounting or shared services
- Advanced command of English
- Proficient in Oracle & Microsoft Office
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and influencing skills
- Strong oral, written and telephonic communications skills both in English and Hungarian
- Capable of designing, selling and implementing solutions, process improvements
- Pro-active approach to problem solving
- Ability to work with multiple & competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to drive process improvements and solve complex problems
